On the seventh day of his official visit to the Republic of India, General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defence, Chief of People's National Army Staff participated, today, Tuesday 11
th February 2025, in the conclave of the Ministers of Defense.
On the occasion of this conclave, the General made a speech, at the beginning of which he thanked the Indian authorities for the kind invitation extended to him to take part in this high-level conclave, while welcoming the sincere desire of the Republic of India to consolidate its relations with its partners and friends:
"First of all, I would like to thank you for the kind invitation you have extended to me, to take part in the work of this conclave of Ministers of Defense 2025, entitled "Building resilience through international defense and global engagement", which I hope will be fruitful and beneficial for all participants.
Indeed, this conclave, which evokes a theme of major importance, reflects the firm desire of the Republic of India to consolidate its relations with its friends and partners. It also provides an opportunity for dialogue and the exchange of views and forward-looking visions on issues related to global security."
The General affirmed that the security challenges facing the world today require us all to strengthen multilateral cooperation and combine efforts in order to build a safer, more stable and more prosperous world:
"I am convinced that the security challenges facing the world today require us to consolidate multilateral cooperation and combine our efforts to help establish the values of peace, sustainable development, and build a safer, more stable and more prosperous world."
At the end, the General took a group photo with the Ministers of Defense who participated in this important meeting.
Then, General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defence, Chief of People's National Army Staff, met with General Anil CHAUHAN, Chief of Staff of the Indian Defense.
This second meeting between the High Command of the two countries, testifies to the mutual interest in strengthening bilateral relations and expanding areas of cooperation. On this occasion, General Anil CHAUHAN expressed his deep gratitude to his Indian counterpart for the warm welcome he received during this visit, affirming that it is an opportunity to establish military cooperation between the two countries.
For his part, General Anil CHAUHAN expressed his joy at having met General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, expressing his optimism that these discussions would lead to concrete results reflecting the unwavering ties between the two countries.
