General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defence, Chief of PNA Staff continues his visit to the Republic of India on its sixth day
On the sixth day of his visit to the Republic of India, General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defence, Chief of People's National Army Staff, took part today, 10th February 2025, in the opening ceremony of the "Aero India" Exhibition, organized at the "Yelahanka" Air Base in Bangalore.
On this occasion, General followed the execution of aerial figures performed by the Indian Air Force and some military delegations participating in this exhibition, in the presence of the Indian Minister of Defense and important guests from various countries of the world.
During these demonstrations, the General expressed to his Indian counterpart his great appreciation of the high level of the exhibitions carried out, welcoming the success of this event, which constitutes an opportunity for the exchange of experiences and an opportunity to inquire about the latest innovations in the field of military aeronautics and air defence.
On the sidelines of this exhibition, General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defence, Chief of PNA Staff of the held discussions with the Commander of the Indian Land Forces, Lieutenant General Upendra Dwivedi, during which the General reiterated Algeria's willingness to strengthen its military relations with friendly states, while welcoming the quality of cooperation with India.
For his part, Lieutenant General Upendra Dwivedi expressed his country's desire to deepen defense relations with Algeria, in the service of the common interests of the two countries and the consolidation of international security and peace.
The General visited the various stands of major companies specializing in military aviation and air defense, where he inquired about the latest innovations and listened to detailed explanations on the technologies used.
During his participation in the opening of the show, the General followed, with the accompanying delegation, an air parade composed of the latest multi-role fighter jets, equipped with stealth techniques and intelligent radars, like the Russian Sukhoi 57 and American F 35 fighter jets.
