General Saïd Chanegriha, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defence, Chief of People's National Army Staff, visits the Cherchell Military Academy “Late President Houari Boumediene”
General Saïd Chanegriha, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defense, Chief of People's National Army Staff, visited the Cherchell Military Academy “Late President Houari Boumediene” today, Wednesday, 9th July, 2025, on the eve of the annual graduation ceremony that this prestigious training institution will host.
After the welcoming ceremony, the General chaired an orientation meeting with the Academy's officers, teachers, and students, in the presence of the Commander of the Land Forces, the Commander of the 1st Military Region, and the Commander of the Cherchell Military Academy. On this occasion, he delivered a speech in which he congratulated the officers of the graduated promotion, urging them, as well as all Algerian youth, to return to the values of the glorious November Revolution, keeping them in mind and implementing them on the ground:
“Building a strong and impregnable Algeria, capable of meeting challenges and challenges, requires all of us to return to the principles of the glorious November Revolution, which constitutes an inexhaustible source of inspiration that guides, like a beacon, the faithful children of the country on the path of construction, development, and the realization of the demands of power and strategic progress." It is therefore up to you, cadets, and all Algerian youth, to keep these values engraved in your hearts and present in your minds, ensuring that they are put into practice on the ground, in the service of the country and its supreme interests.
Indeed, faith in national and republican values, which have shaped the dignity and pride of the Algerian people and enabled us to fly the flag of our country high, deserves to inhabit the hearts of our young people, but also to be expressed through their actions, their behavior, and their work.”
On this occasion, the General emphasized the PNA's commitment to anchoring national history in people's minds and making it a source of pride and inspiration:
“Based on this principle, we within the PNA, under the leadership of the President of the Republic, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defense, ensure that our national history remains anchored in people's minds and is a source of pride and inspiration. In this sense, we also ensure that this historical awareness is transformed into concrete actions that prove that Algeria, which triumphed yesterday by freeing itself from abject colonialism and which thwarted the attempts to destabilize the republic through terrorism and violent extremism, will remain, today and tomorrow, united and triumphant over its enemies, thanks to its cohesion, steadfastness, and faith in these same national and republican values. ”
At the end, the Academy's students were given the floor, expressing their satisfaction with the conditions under which their training program was conducted and reiterating their full willingness to fulfill their national duty, fully aware of the challenges that await them, in order to ensure the unity, security, and stability of Algeria.
On this occasion, the General inaugurated a 400-unit housing complex for the officers and personnel of the Cherchell garrison.
