Operational Report of PNA from 01st to the 08th July 2025
As part of the sustained efforts in the fight against terrorism and multifaceted organized crime, units and detachments of People’s National Army carried out several operations between 1st to 8 July and, 2025, resulting in high-quality results that reflect the high professionalism, vigilance, and constant readiness of our Armed Forces throughout the national territory.
As part of the fight against terrorism, detachments of People's National Army arrested seven elements supporting terrorist groups in various operations across the national territory. As part of the fight against organized crime and in continuation of sustained efforts to counter the scourge of drug trafficking in our country, combined detachments of People's National Army,
in coordination with the various security services, intercepted (42) drug traffickers and thwarted attempts to introduce (16) quintals and (45) kilograms of processed kif from the borders with Morocco, while (8.67) kilograms of cocaine and significant quantities of psychotropic tablets amounting to (1,783,279) tablets were seized during operations carried out across the Military Regions.
In Tamanrasset, Bordj Badji Mokhtar, and In Salah, detachments of People's National Army arrested 573 individuals and seized 51 vehicles, 231 generators, 138 jackhammers, as well as quantities of raw gold and stone mixtures, explosives, detonation tools, and equipment used in illicit gold mining operations.
Similarly, 42 other individuals were arrested, and one semi-automatic pistol, 17 hunting rifles, as well as 48,800 liters of fuel, 20 quintals of tobacco, and 22 tons of foodstuffs intended for smuggling and speculation were seized during various operations.
Furthermore, the Coast Guard thwarted illegal immigration attempts on the national coasts and rescued (486) individuals on board homemade boats, while (218) illegal immigrants of different nationalities were arrested across the national territory.
