Operational Report of PNA from 09th to the 15th July 2025
As part of the sustained efforts in the fight against terrorism and multifaceted organized crime, units and detachments of People's National Army carried out, between 9th to 15th July and, 2025, several operations that resulted in high-quality results that reflect the high professionalism, vigilance, and constant readiness of our Armed Forces throughout the national territory.
As part of the fight against organized crime and in continuation of sustained efforts aimed at countering the scourge of drug trafficking in our country, combined detachments of People's National Army intercepted, in coordination with the various security services, (43) drug traffickers and thwarted attempts to introduce (3) quintals and (93) kilograms of treated kif from the borders with Morocco, while (54.77) kilograms of cocaine were seized in the 4th Military Region, as well as (320,430) psychotropic tablets during operations carried out across the Military Regions.
In Tamanrasset, In Guezzam, Bordj Badji Mokhtar, In Salah, Djanet and Illizi, detachments of People's National Army arrested (308) individuals and seized (32) vehicles, (230) generators, (150) jackhammers, (05) metal detectors, as well as quantities of raw gold and stone mixture, explosives, detonation tools and equipment used in illicit gold mining operations. Similarly, (7) other individuals were arrested and (3) hunting rifles, as well as (219,280) liters of fuel, (5.43) quintals of tobacco and (5) tons of foodstuffs intended for smuggling and speculation were seized during various operations.
Furthermore, the Coast Guard thwarted illegal immigration attempts on the national coasts and rescued (58) individuals on board homemade boats, while (136) illegal immigrants of different nationalities were arrested across the national territory.
