Operational Report of PNA from 16th to the 22nd July 2025
Within the framework of the sustained efforts in the fight against terrorism and multifaceted organized crime, units and detachments of People's National Army carried out several operations between 16th and 22nd July 2025, leading to high-quality results that reflect the professionalism, the vigilance, and the constant readiness of our Armed Forces throughout the national territory.
Within the framework of the fight against terrorism, detachments of People's National Army arrested five elements support for terrorist groups in different operations across the national territory.
Within the framework of the fight against organized crime and within the continuation of the sustained efforts aiming to counter drug trafficking scourge in our country, combined detachments of People's National Army apprehended, in coordination with the various security services, (33) drug traffickers and thwarted attempts to introduce (3) quintals and (25) kilograms of treated kif from the borders with Morocco, while (94,011) psychotropic tablets were seized during operations carried out across the Military Regions.
In Tamanrasset, Bordj Badji Mokhtar, In Guezzam and El Oued, detachments of People's National Army arrested (286) individuals and seized (43) vehicles, (162) generators, (81) jackhammers, (5) metal detectors, as well as quantities of raw gold and stone mixture, explosives, detonation tools and equipment used in illegal gold mining operations.
Similarly, (15) other individuals were arrested and one (1) hunting rifle, as well as (14,060) litres of fuel, (10) quintals of tobacco and (171) tons of foodstuffs intended for smuggling and speculation were seized during various operations.
Furthermore, the Coast Guards thwarted illegal immigration attempts on the national coasts and rescued (272) individuals on board handmade boats, while (439) illegal immigrants from different nationalities were arrested across the national territory.
