General Saïd Chanegriha, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defence, Chief of People’s National Army Staff, presides over the greeting’s ceremony for Eid al-Adha.
General Saïd Chanegriha, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defence, Chief of People's National Army Staff, oversaw the greetings ceremony for Eid al-Adha this morning, 8 June, 2025, at the headquarters of the Ministry of National Defence.
The ceremony was attended by the Secretary General of the Ministry of National Defence, the Commanders of the Forces, the Republican Guard, the National Gendarmerie, the Commander of the 1st Military Regiment, the Chief of Staff at the Ministry of National Defence, the chiefs s of Departments, the Directors and Chiefs of Central Services of the Ministry of National Defence, and the General Staff of People's National Army.
On this occasion, the General conveyed the greetings of the President of the Republic, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence to those present, before extending his best wishes to them, their loved ones, and all the personnel of the People's National Army:
"First of all, I would like to extend to you the greetings and best wishes of the President of the Republic, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence, on the occasion of Eid al-Adha. I also take this sacred religious occasion to extend my most sincere wishes, praying to Almighty Allah to bless you and your families with health, happiness, and prosperity.
It is also an opportunity I constantly take to hold this symbolic ceremony to anchor the traditions of People’s National Army and encourage our officers and personnel to redouble their efforts and perseverance in serving the supreme interests of the country”.
