Fight against organized crime.. Arrest of three (3) armed foreign nationality
As part of ongoing efforts to combat terrorism and organized crime in all its forms, and during a search and raid operation, combined detachments of People's National Army arrested yesterday, 13th June, 2025, in the territory of the Northeast Operational Sector of In Amenas in the 4th Military Region, three (3) armed foreign nationality who were in possession of:
• One submachine gun (1) FMPK;
• One (1) sniper rifle;
• A large quantity of ammunition;
• One (1) Toyota station vehicle;
• One (1) Thuraya device, one (1) wireless communication device, and two (2) mobile phones;
• (1,238,445) psychotropic tablets of the pregabalin type, as well as other medications.
This quality operation, which adds to the set of results achieved on the ground, reiterates the great vigilance and firm determination of the Forces of People's National Army and the various security services to cleanse our country of the scourge of terrorism, and to fight against all forms of organized crime and to preserve the security and stability of the country.
