Operational Report of PNA from 28th May and 3rd June 2025
As part of the sustained efforts in the fight against terrorism and multifaceted organized crime, units and detachments of People's National Army carried out, between 28th May and 3rd June 2025, several operations that resulted in high-quality results that reflect the high professionalism, vigilance, and constant readiness of our Armed Forces throughout the national territory.
As part of the fight against terrorism and thanks to the efforts of units of People's National Army, detachments of People's National Army killed two (2) terrorists and recovered two (2) submachine guns type Kalashnikov and a quantity of ammunition in Khenchela, in the 5th Military Region.
In the same context, the terrorists named RIKANE Brahim alias "Bilel" and LAHAD Ibrahim alias "Moussa", surrendered to the military authorities of Bordj Badji Mokhtar in the 6th Military Region, in their possession (2) Kalashnikov-type submachine guns, one (1) automatic pistol, a quantity of ammunition and various effects, while other detachments of People's National Army arrested (6) elements supporting terrorist groups, in different operations across the national territory.
As part of the fight against organized crime and in continuation of sustained efforts aimed at countering the scourge of drug trafficking in our country, combined detachments of People's National Army intercepted, in coordination with the various security services, (63) drug traffickers and thwarted attempts to introduce one (1) quintal and (31) kilograms of processed kif from the borders with Morocco, while significant quantities of psychotropic tablets amounting to (2,059,240) tablets were seized during operations carried out across the Military Regions.
In Tamanrasset, Bordj Badji Mokhtar, In Guezzam and Djanet, detachments of People's National Army arrested (220) individuals and seized (50) vehicles, (281) generators, (183) jackhammers, (5) metal detectors, as well as quantities of raw gold and stone mixture, explosives, detonation tools and equipment used in illicit gold mining operations. Similarly, (13) other individuals were arrested and (11) hunting rifles and (11,335) liters of fuel, as well as (18) quintals of tobacco and (39) tons of foodstuffs intended for smuggling and speculation were seized during various operations.
Furthermore, the Coast Guard thwarted illegal immigration attempts on the national coasts and rescued (323) individuals on board homemade boats, while (381) illegal immigrants of different nationalities were arrested across the national territory.
