Operational Report of PNA from the 4th to 10th June 2025
As part of the sustained efforts in the fight against terrorism and multifaceted organized crime, units and detachments of People's National Army carried out, between the 4th to 10th June, 2025, several operations which led to high-quality results that reflect the high professionalism, vigilance, and constant readiness of our Armed Forces throughout the national territory.
As part of the fight against terrorism and thanks to the efforts of the units of People's National Army, the terrorist named GHENNAMI Salek surrendered to the military authorities of Bordj Badji Mokhtar in the 6th Military Region, in possession of (1) submachine gun type Kalashnikov, a quantity of ammunition, and various belongings, while other detachments of People's National Army arrested (3) elements supporting terrorist groups, in various operations across the national territory.
As part of fight against organized crime and in continuation of sustained efforts aimed at countering the scourge of drug trafficking in our country, combined detachments of People's National Army intercepted, in coordination with the various security services, (28) drug traffickers and thwarted attempts to introduce (16) kilograms of treated kif from the borders with Morocco, while significant quantities of psychotropic tablets amounting to (1,616,662) tablets and (1,000) grams of cocaine were seized during operations carried out across the Military Regions.
In Tamanrasset, Bordj Badji Mokhtar, In Salah, and In Guzzam, detachments of People's National Army arrested (60) individuals and seized (25) vehicles, (42) generators, (43) jackhammers, as well as quantities of raw gold and stone mixtures, explosives, detonation tools, and equipment used in illicit gold mining operations. Similarly, (12) other individuals were arrested, and one automatic pistol, three hunting rifles, and (13,660) liters of fuel were seized during various operations.
In addition, the Coast Guard thwarted illegal immigration attempts on the country's coasts and rescued (205) individuals aboard homemade boats, while (206) illegal immigrants of various nationalities were arrested across the country.
