Operational Report of PNA from the 18th and 24th June, 2025
As part of the sustained efforts in the fight against terrorism and multifaceted organized crime, units and detachments of People’s National Army carried out several operations between 18th and 24th June, 2025, which led to high-quality results that reflect the high professionalism, vigilance, and constant readiness of our Armed Forces throughout the national territory.
As part of the fight against terrorism and thanks to the efforts of the units of People's National Army, the terrorist named Lansari Ahmed alias "Elhoubla" surrendered to the military authorities of Adrar in the 3th Military Region, in possession of (1) automatic submachine gun type Dochka, (1) submachine gun type Kalashnikov, a quantity of ammunition, and various belongings, while other detachments of People's National Army arrested (14) elements supporting terrorist groups, in various operations across the national territory.
As part of the fight against organized crime and in continuation of sustained efforts aimed at countering the scourge of drug trafficking in our country, combined detachments of People's National Army intercepted, in coordination with the various security services, (36) drug traffickers and thwarted attempts to introduce (8) quintals and (68) kilograms of treated kif from the borders with Morocco, while (50) kilograms of cocaine and large quantities of psychotropic tablets amounting to (1,176,576) tablets were seized during operations carried out across the Military Regions.
In Tamanrasset, Bordj Badji Mokhtar, In Guezzam and In Salah, detachments of People’s National Army arrested (160) individuals and seized (51) vehicles, (73) generators, (71) jackhammers, as well as quantities of raw gold and stone mixture, explosives, detonation tools and equipment used in illicit gold mining operations. Similarly, (16) other individuals were arrested and (2) submachine gun, (4) automatic pistol, one (9) hunting rifle, as well as (30,754) litters of fuel, (9) quintals of tobacco and (82) tons of foodstuffs intended for smuggling and speculation were seized during various operations.
Furthermore, the Coast Guard thwarted illegal immigration attempts on the national coasts and rescued (469) individuals on board homemade boats, while (287) illegal immigrants of different nationalities were arrested across the national territory.
