The Algerian military delegation participating in the first edition of the World Military Martial Arts Championship, held in Germany from June 22 to 25, 2025, arrived yesterday evening, Sunday, June 29, 2025, at Houari Boumediene Airport, where they were welcomed by General Abdelhak Djabou, Head of the Military Sports Department of the Employment and Preparation Department of the General Staff of the National People's Army, accompanied by senior officials of the People's National Army.
At this international competition, the national military judo, associated wrestling, and taekwondo teams achieved 7
th place, having won two (02) silver medals and eleven (11) bronze medals in various disciplines, namely one silver medal and four bronze medals in judo, one silver medal and four bronze medals in taekwondo, and three bronze medals were won by the national military associated wrestling team.
This global competition, which saw the participation of 746 athletes representing 37 countries, demonstrates the performance achieved by the national military elite during this first edition of the World Military Martial Arts Championship.
