Following the search and combing operation carried out by detachments of People's National Army on June 3rd , 2025, in the Oued Boudekhane area of the Khenchela Military Sector in the 5th Military Region, which resulted in the elimination of two terrorists and the recovery of two Kalashnikov submachine guns and a quantity of ammunition, the identification operation which led to determine the identities of the two terrorists killed. These terrorists are:

      "Merrikhi Abderahmane," alias "Hodhaïfa Abou Bouchra," who joined terrorist groups in 2007;
      "HEDED El Hachemi," alias "Hamza El Soufi," who joined terrorist groups in 2006.

      The two terrorists were considered emirs within terrorist groups operating in the eastern part of the country.
