Second day of the visit of General Saïd Chanegriha, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defence, Chief of People's National Army Staff
On the second day of his visit to the 3rd Military Region, and as part of the follow-up to combat readiness programs for the 2024-2025 year, General Saïd Chanegriha, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defence, Chief of People's National Army Staff, supervised today, Thursday, May 22nd, 2025, the execution of a live ammunition tactical exercise entitled "El Hisn El Manie 2025," carried out by units of the Tindouf Southern Operational Sector, supported by units from various forces and branches.
At the outset, the General, accompanied by Major General Nacerddine FODHIL, received a presentation from the Exercise Director, covering the general concept of the exercise, the phases of its execution, and the expected objectives. The presentation then followed, at the firing and maneuver range of the Southern Operational Sector in Tindouf, the progress of the combat actions carried out by the units involved, executed with professionalism and a high tactical and operational level, thus reflecting the great operational capabilities of the staff and commands at all levels.
This exercise, characterized by a high level of coordination between the various participating units, highlighted the high level of skill of the officers in the execution and conduct of combat actions, as well as the expertise and mastery of the various weapons systems and equipment provided, enabling the achievement of highly satisfactory results, reflected in the precision of firing with the various weapons and strict adherence to predefined execution deadlines.
At the end of the exercise, the General held a meeting with the personnel of the units participating in this tactical exercise, which was a success, particularly in terms of planning, preparation, and execution, which reflect the level of preparation of the officers and personnel and the high level of skills and abilities of the commands and staff. The General also congratulated the officers of the participating units for their efforts during the 2024-2025 combat readiness year, and during the planning, preparation, and execution of this exercise, while emphasizing the need to redouble efforts to further develop the components of People's National Army and elevate them to greater success in order to guarantee the security and stability of Algeria.
