Within the framework of the fight against terrorism effort and during a search and sweep operation in the Oued Gharghar area in the commune of Chechar in the Khenchela Military Sector in the Fifth Military Region, detachments of people’s National Army killed one terrorist on the afternoon of May 15th, 2025, and recovered one Kalashnikov submachine gun and a quantity of ammunition.

      This operation, which is still ongoing, confirms the vigilance and determination of People’s National Army Forces to hunt down these criminals throughout the national territory until their eradication.
