As part of the counterterrorism effort, the search and raid operation conducted by detachments of People's National Army in the Oued Gharghar area in the commune of Chechar in the Khenchela Military Sector in the Fifth Military Region resulted in the neutralization of two terrorists on 15TH May and 16th, 2025. This operation, which is still ongoing, also resulted in the recovery of four Kalashnikov submachine guns, a quantity of ammunition, and other items.



      These quality results illustrate, once again, the effectiveness of the approach adopted by the High Command of the People's National Army to eradicate the remnants of these criminals and to ensure security and tranquility throughout the national territory.
