Major General Mohamed Salah BENBICHA, Secretary General of the Ministry of National Defence, received in audience this Tuesday, 27^th May, 2025, at the headquarters of the Ministry of National Defence, His Excellency You Ki-Jun, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Algeria, accompanied by a delegation.


      On this occasion, the two parties held bilateral discussions in the presence of the Head of the Procurement Department, the Director of Military Manufacturing, the Director of External Relations and Cooperation, and the Director of Legal Affairs at the Ministry of National Defence, alongside the Korean Military Attaché in Algiers. These discussions focused on areas of mutual interest, following which the two parties formally exchanged the Memorandum of Understanding on Defense Cooperation, signed between the Ministries of National Defence of the two countries. Both parties also praised the excellent bilateral relations as well as the mechanisms for consultation and cooperation established between them.

      At the end, the two parties exchanged symbolic gifts.
