Following the search and combing operation carried out by detachments of People’s National Army in the Oued Ghergher area in the commune of Chechar in the Khenchela Military Sector of the 5^th Military Region, on 15^th and 16 ^th May, 2025, which resulted in the elimination of two terrorists and the recovery of four Kalashnikov submachine guns and a quantity of ammunition, the identification operation made it possible to determine the identities of the two terrorists killed. They are:

• "El hachemi MAALEM," also known as "El hachemi Abou Abderahmane," who joined terrorist groups in 1995;
• "HARKAT Aissam," also known as "Abou El Kheir," who joined terrorist groups in 2013.
