On the occasion of the 71st Anniversary of 1st November 1954 Glorious Revolution outbreak, the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid TEBBOUNE, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence, presided over a reception on the evening of Saturday, 1st November 2025, at Army’s National Circle in Béni Messous, in honour of senior officers of People's National Army, both active and retired, in the presence of high-ranking state officials.
The President of the republic was welcomed at the entrance to Army’s National Circle by General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defence, Chief of Staff of People's National Army.
The following individuals participated in this ceremony, which is part of the long-standing traditions of People's National Army aiming celebrate key moments in our glorious history and paying tribute to our valiant martyrs:
the President of the Council of the Nation, the President of People's National Assembly, the Prime Minister, the President of the Constitutional Court, members of the Government, as well as the Lieutenant General, Commander of the Land Forces, the Secretary General of the Ministry of National Defence, the Commander of the Republican Guard, the Forces Commanders, the Chief of Staff to the Ministry of National Defence, the Acting Commander of the National Gendarmerie, the Commanders of the Military Regions, the Chiefs of Departments, the Directors and Chiefs of Central Services of the Ministry of National Defence and of People's National Army General Staff, along with senior state officials, national figures, and veterans of the War of Independence.




At the beginning, the audience listened to the National Anthem performed by a musical troop from the Republican Guard, followed by performing two revolutionary songs from our heritage. Then, the audience watched a documentary film entitled "The November Revolution: An Epic of Glory... The Path to Victory," produced by Directorate of Information and Communication of People's National Army General Staff.
The ceremony ended with a spectacular fireworks display set to traditional national music.
