The General, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defence, Chief of Staff of People's National Army, supervises the inauguration ceremony of new healthcare infrastructures in the First Military Region

     Within the framework of the celebrations commemorating the 71st anniversary of the glorious November Revolution outbreak, the General, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defence, Chief of Staff of People's National Army, supervised the inauguration ceremony of new healthcare facilities this Saturday, 15th November 2025 in the 1st Military Region.

  

     At the beginning, and after the welcoming ceremony given at the Army’s Central Hospital of Ain Naadja by the Commander of the 1st Military Region in the presence of Major Generals and Brigadier Generals of the Ministry of National Defence and of PNA General Staff, the General followed a detailed presentation by the Central Director of Military Health Services, concerning the new infrastructures which will be inaugurated, and whose realization is part of the implementation of health projects aiming to improve the performance of hospital establishments and the level of offered health services.

  

     Then, the General oversaw the activation of two medical departments at the Army’s Central Hospital, which had recently been equipped with new medical equipment. For this occasion, he listened to detailed explanations provided by the heads of these departments.

  

     The General closely inspected the Hyperbaric Department, which offers the latest therapeutic methods for treating hypertension using oxygen therapy, as well as the Nuclear Medicine Department, which recently acquired a new PET-scan and PET-MRI unit. This unit, specializing in molecular imaging, is equipped with the latest generation equipment, enabling physicians and specialists to establish accurate diagnosis of the location and nature of the disease.

  

      These two departments built in accordance with international health standards and equipped with modern, high-performance equipment, are able to provide high quality medical care to patients, thus contributing to the improvement of their healthcare experience.

     In Blida, the General, accompanied by the Commander of the 1st Military Region and the Central Director of Military Health Services, supervised the inauguration of the Regional Mixed University Military Hospital, which will provide medical care to both military and civilian personnel. Following this, the General received a detailed presentation from the hospital's General Director, outlining the hospital's various components, its reception capacity, the cutting edge medical equipment, as well as the high quality of the qualified medical and administrative human resources who support all services within this important military healthcare facility.

  

     Afterward, the General visited the hospital's various departments, where he received detailed explanations of the medical and surgical services offered, thus contributing to the strengthening of the provided medical services.

     On this occasion, the General held a meeting with the officers and the personnel of the Military Health Service, where he delivered a keynote address, which was also followed via videoconference by the Military Health Service personnel of the six Military Regions through which he emphasized that the inauguration of these new healthcare facilities was part of the celebrations marking the 71st anniversary of the outbreak of the glorious November Revolution, and a tribute to the courageous men and women who forged the glory and the pride of Algeria:

  

     “within the framework of the celebrations commemorating the 71st anniversary of the outbreak of the glorious November Revolution, and keeping with the message of our valiant martyrs, and convinced of our duty to strengthen the capabilities of our valiant army, I am pleased today to visit the First Military Region and to inaugurate new healthcare facilities and infrastructures, such as the Blida Regional Mixed University Military Hospital, as well as several new medical services within the Army’s Central Hospital.

     On the occasion of this honourable national commemoration, we must draw inspiration from the sincerity and dedication of these courageous women and men who have shaped the glory and the pride of Algeria, and from them, as loyal Algerians, to elevate our work to the highest levels of perfection, professionalism, and dedication”.


     The General emphasized that these achievements testify the unwavering determination that drives the High Command to continue adapting the military health system to the new demands of the combat forces and emerging health challenges:

     “In this regard, it is worth emphasizing that what has been accomplished on the ground in the military health sector, or what is currently being accomplished, undoubtedly reflects the particular attention that the President of the Republic, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, and Minister of National Defence, pays to the military health sector.

     These achievements are examples of our strong determination to achieve our objectives, particularly with regard to the continuous adaptation of our military health system to new requirements and emerging health challenges.

     We also ensured that our healthcare facilities had the necessary qualified human resources, capable of managing specialized medical services and operating modern medical equipment. This included highly trained general practitioners, specialists, surgeons, nurses, and technicians, to guarantee the highest levels of healthcare for personnel and their beneficiaries”.

     At the end of the ceremony, the General signed the guest books.
