Operational Report of PNA from 5th to the 11th November 2025
Within the framework of the sustained efforts in the fight against terrorism and multifaceted organized crime, units and detachments of People's National Army conducted several operations between 5th to the 11th November 2025. These operations yielded high-quality results that reflect the professionalism, vigilance, and constant readiness of our Armed Forces throughout the national territory:
Within the framework of the fight against terrorism, and thanks to the efforts of People's National Army units, the terrorist known as T. Sid Ahmed, alias "Mohamed," surrendered to the military authorities in In Guezzam, 6th Military Region. He was in possession of one (1) Simonov semi-automatic rifle, a quantity of ammunition, and other items.
In the same context, detachments of People's National Army arrested 08 elements of support for terrorist groups in various operations across the country.
Within the framework of the fight against organized crime and continuing efforts to combat drug trafficking scourge in our country, combined detachments of People's National Army, in coordination with various security services, intercepted 61 drug traffickers during operations conducted across the Military Regions. They also thwarted smuggle attempts of 244 kilograms of treated kif from the borders with Morocco, while seizing 2 kilograms of cocaine and 412,013 psychotropic tablets.
In Tamanrasset, Bordj Badji Mokhtar, In Guezzam, and Illizi, detachments of People's National Army arrested 664 individuals and seized 20 vehicles, 319 generators, 171 jackhammers, as well as quantities of raw gold and stones mixture, and equipment used in illegal gold mining operations. In separate operations, 20 other individuals were apprehended, and 1 machine gun, 6 hunting rifles, 71,645 litres of fuel, and 10 tons of foodstuffs intended for smuggling and speculation were seized.
Furthermore, the Coast Guard thwarted illegal emigration attempts on the national coasts and rescued (165) individuals on board artisanal construction boat, while (380) illegal immigrants from various nationalities were arrested throughout the national territory.
