Within the framework of the sustained efforts in the fight against terrorism and multifaceted organized crime, units and detachments of People's National Army conducted several operations between 19th and 25th November 2025. These operations yielded significant results, reflecting the high level of professionalism, vigilance, and constant readiness of our Armed Forces throughout the national territory:

      Within the framework of the fight against terrorism, detachments of People's National Army arrested seven (7) individuals providing support to terrorist groups in various operations across the country.

      Within the framework of the fight against organized crime and continuing efforts to counter drug trafficking scourge in our country, combined detachments of People's National Army, in coordination with the various security services, intercepted (61) drug traffickers and thwarted attempts to introduce (9) quintals and (66) kilograms of treated kif from the borders with Morocco, while (1.35) kilogram of cocaine and (564.966) psychotropic tablets were seized.



      In Tamanrasset, Bordj Badji Mokhtar, In Guezzam, Illizi, and Djanet, detachments of People's National Army arrested 566 individuals and seized 37 vehicles, 261 generators, 146 jackhammers, as well as quantities of raw gold and stones mixture, and equipment used in illegal gold mining operations. In separate operations, 14 other individuals were apprehended, and 3 Kalashnikov-type submachine guns, 1 automatic pistol, 14 hunting rifles, 60,100 litres of fuel, and 6 tons of foodstuffs intended for smuggling and speculation were seized.



      Furthermore, the Coast Guard thwarted illegal emigration attempts on the national coasts and rescued (79) individuals on board artisanal construction boat, while (202) illegal immigrants from various nationalities were arrested throughout the national territory.
