As part of the ongoing high-quality operation carried out by detachments of People's National Army in the Tlidjene region of the Tébessa Military Sector in the 5th Military Region, which resulted on September 23rd, 2025, in the elimination of six (6) terrorists and the recovery of six (06) submachine guns type Kalashnikov, a significant quantity of ammunition, and other belongings, detachments of People's National Army killed one (01) terrorist today, 8th October 2025, in the Djebel El-Abyad region of Tébessa Military Sector in the 5th Military Region and recovered one (01) submachine gun type Kalashnikov and other belongings. Thus, the toll of this ongoing operation stands at seven (7) terrorists killed and seven (7) submachine guns type Kalashnikov were recovered.

      These results reiterate, once again, the effectiveness of the approach adopted by the High Command of People's National Army to defeat the scourge of terrorism and ensure security and tranquility throughout the national territory.
