Operational Report of PNA from 24th to the 30th September 2025
Within the framework of the dynamics of sustained efforts in the fight against terrorism and against multifaceted organized crime, units and detachments of People's National Army carried out, during the period from 24th to 30th September 2025, several operations that resulted in quality results that reflect the high professionalism, vigilance and permanent availability of our Armed Forces throughout the national territory:
Within the framework of the fight against terrorism and during a qualitative operation in the Military Sector of Tébessa in the 5th Military Region, detachments of the People's National Army eliminated (6) terrorists and recovered (6) Kalashnikov-type submachine guns, a quantity of ammunition and other effects, while other detachments of People's National Army arrested (9) elements of support for terrorist groups, in different operations across the national territory.
Within the framework of the fight against organized crime and in continuation of the efforts made to counter drug trafficking scourge in our country, combined detachments of People's National Army intercepted, in coordination with the various security services, during operations carried out across the Military Regions, (28) drug traffickers and thwarted attempts to introduce (8) quintals and (53) kilograms of treated kif from the borders with Morocco, while (170,142) psychotropic tablets were seized.
In Tamanrasset, Bordj Badji Mokhtar, In Salah, In Guezzam, Djanet and Illizi, detachments of People's National Army arrested (529) individuals and seized (23) vehicles, (327) generators, (220) jackhammers, (03) metal detectors, as well as quantities of raw gold and stones mixture and equipment used in illegal gold mining operations. Similarly, (17) other individuals were apprehended, and one heavy machine gun, two Kalashnikov-type submachine guns, one Simonov-type semi-automatic rifle, one automatic pistol, (10) hunting rifles, as well as (31,635) litres of fuel, (158) quintals of tobacco, and (2.65) tons of foodstuffs intended for smuggling and speculation were seized during separate operations.
In addition, the Coast Guard thwarted illegal immigration attempts on the national coasts and rescued (514) individuals aboard homemade boats, while (671) illegal immigrants from different nationalities were arrested across the national territory.
