Within the framework of the fight against terrorism and multifaceted organized crime, and thanks to the optimal use of security intelligence, detachments of People's National Army under Tamanaghasset Military Sector in the 6th Military Region dismantled a terrorist cell planning to commit criminal acts.
      This operation resulted in the arrest of seven (07) individuals and the recovery of:

• Two (02) Kalashnikov submachine guns;
• Six (06) ammunition chargers;
• A quantity of ammunition;
• One (01) 4x4 vehicle;
• Two (02) Thuraya satellite phones.

      This operation reiterates, once again, the constant ability and vigilance of People's National Army units and their firm determination to eradicate terrorism scourge and establish security and tranquillity throughout the national territory.
