Operational Report of PNA from 22nd to the 28th October 2025
Within the dynamic of the sustained efforts to fight against terrorism and multifaceted organized crime, units and detachments of People's National Army conducted several operations between 22nd and 28th October 2025, achieving significant results that reflect the high level of professionalism, vigilance, and constant readiness of our Armed Forces throughout the country.
Within the framework of the fight against terrorism, detachments of People's National Army arrested (07) seven elements of support for terrorist groups in various operations across the country.
Within the framework of the fight against organized crime and continuing efforts to combat drug trafficking scourge in our country, combined detachments of People's National Army, in coordination with various security services, intercepted 51 drug traffickers during operations carried out across the Military Regions and thwarted smuggle attempts of 721 kilograms of processed kif from the borders with Morocco, while 155,978 psychotropic tablets were seized.
In Tamanrasset, Bordj Badji Mokhtar, In Salah, In Guezzam, and Illizi, detachments of People's National Army arrested 204 individuals and seized 52 vehicles, 208 generators, 144 jackhammers, as well as quantities of raw gold and stones mixture, and equipment used in illegal gold mining operations. In separate operations, 12 other individuals were apprehended, and 5 Kalashnikov-type submachine guns, 1 sniper rifle, 10 hunting rifles, 47,778 litres of fuel, 14 quintals of tobacco, and 44 tons of foodstuffs intended for smuggling and speculation were seized.
Furthermore, the Coast Guard thwarted illegal emigration attempts on the national coasts and rescued (175) individuals on board artisanal constructed boats, while (478) illegal immigrants from various nationalities were arrested throughout the national territory.
