As part of the intense efforts deployed by the various units of our Armed Forces in the fight against terrorism, detachments of People's National Army killed six terrorists during the night of yesterday, September 23rd , 2025, and recovered six Kalashnikov submachine guns, as well as a significant quantity of ammunition and other belongings, in the Tlidjene area, Tébessa Military Sector in the 5th Military Region.


      To this end, General Saïd Chanegriha, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defense, Chief of Staff of People's National Army, visited the operation area, where he inspected, along with Major General Noureddine Hamblī, Commander of the 5th Military Region, the military units participating in this high-quality operation.


      The General addressed the military personnel who demonstrated courage and bravery on the spot, saluting this heroic operation on the same occasion, before conveying greetings and congratulations from the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of National Defense.


      The General then provided guidance to all personnel, urging them to make greater efforts to preserve the security of the country and its citizens and to continue the fight against the remnants of terrorist groups with determination and pride in this sacred duty.


      This operation, which is in addition to the various qualitative operations carried out by the different detachments of People's Army National as part of the fight against terrorism, reiterates once again the determination and resolution of the units committed to cleaning our country of the remnants of terrorist groups and to eradicating this scourge from our national territory.
