Operational Report of PNA from 10th to the 16th September 2025
Within the framework of the sustained efforts in the fight against terrorism and multifaceted organized crime, units and detachments of People's National Army carried out several operations between 10th and 16th September 2025, resulting in high-quality results that reflect the high professionalism, vigilance, and constant readiness of our Armed Forces throughout the country:
Within the framework of the fight against terrorism and thanks to the efforts of People's National Army units, the terrorist named OKBAOUI Badi, alias "Hamza," surrendered to the military authorities in Bordj Badji Mokhtar, 6th Military Region, in possession of one Kalashnikov submachine gun, one Simonov semi-automatic rifle, a quantity of ammunition, and other items. The said terrorist had joined terrorist groups operating outside the country in 2016.
In the same context, detachments of People's National Army arrested four terrorist group supporters in various operations across the country.
Within the framework of the fight against organized crime and continuing efforts to counter drug trafficking scourge in our country, combined detachments of People's National Army, in coordination with the various security services, during operations carried out across the Military Regions, intercepted 60 drug traffickers and thwarted smuggle attempts of 05 quintals and four kilograms of treated kif from the border with Morocco, while seizing 72 kilograms of cocaine and 372,407 psychotropic tablets.
In Tamanrasset, Bordj Badji Mokhtar, In Salah, In Guezzam and Illizi, detachments of People's National Army arrested (1,182) individuals and seized (33) vehicles, (472) generators, (234) jackhammers, as well as quantities of raw gold and stones mixture and equipment used in illegal gold mining operations. Similarly, (15) other individuals were apprehended and (7) hunting rifles, (66,260) liters of fuel, as well as (5) tons of foodstuffs intended for smuggling and speculation were seized, during separate operations.
Furthermore, the Coast Guard thwarted illegal immigration attempts on the national coasts and rescued (411) individuals on board homemade boats, while (940) illegal immigrants from different nationalities were arrested across the national territory.
