Operational Report of PNA from 17th to the 23rd September 2025
In the dynamics of sustained efforts in the fight against terrorism and against multifaceted organized crime, units and detachments of People's National Army carried out, during the period from September 17th to 23rd , 2025, several operations having led to quality results which reflect the high professionalism, the vigilance and the permanent availability of our armed forces throughout the national territory:
As part of the fight against organized crime and in continuity of the efforts made to thwart the scourge of narcotrafic in our country, combined detachments of People's National Army intercepted, in coordination with the various security services, during operations carried out through the military regions, (50) drug traffickers and defeat attempts to introduce (7) quintals and (54) KIF treated from borders with Morocco, while (370,176) Psychotropic tablets were seized.
In Tamanrasset, Bordj Badji Mokhtar, in Salah, in Guezzam and Djanet, detachments of People's National Army arrested (627) Individuals and seized (19) vehicles, (254) generators, (227) biting hammers, (04) Metal detectors, as well as quantities of raw gold mixture and stones used in operations illegal gold mining . Similarly, (10) other individuals have been apprehended and one (1) Kalachnikov type machine guns, (9) hunting rifles, (51,630) liters of fuel, (357) quintals of tobacco, as well as (30.5) tonnes of food for smuggling and speculation were seized, during distinct operations.
In addition, the Coast Guard has defeated, on the national coasts, attempts at clandestine emigration and rescue of (251) individuals on board craft construction, while (832) illegal immigrants of different nationalities were arrested across national territory.
