Infantry is still the historical core of the Land Forces. Essentially made up of the glorious National Liberation Army's structures, this arm is considered as a military character par excellence, as determined by the citizens through its dispersal of its units and divisions, as well as the important number of the reservists.
As an arm of occupation and continuous control of the ground, it includes mechanised and motorised infantry, as the land forces of the foreign Armies.
