On the occasion of National Emigration Day coinciding with the 63^rdanniversary of October 17^th, 1961 massacres, and in implementation with the decision of the President of the Republic, the Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence, to observe a minute of silence in tribute to the martyrs of the October 17^th, 1961 manifestations, today October 17^th, 2024 at 11.00 am, witnessed observation of a minute of silence under supervision of Major General Mahfoud BENMEDDAH, Naval Forces Commander, at the Naval Forces Command Headquarters Chahid « SOUIDANI Boudjemaa » in Zeralda, in tribute to our valiant martyrs murdered on that day, as a result of the savage repression which Algerians in France were subjected during these peaceful demonstrations.




     This minute of silence, observed by all units and structures of the Naval Forces, is a part of the desire of the High Command of the People’s National Army to preserve the national memory and anchor the values of the Glorious November Revolution in the spirits of all personnel.
