The Air Force Command organized a tactical air exercise at the Air Central Polygon /Chahid MEGOUAS Belkacem/1st M.R
As part of the execution of the combat preparation program for the year 2021-2022, the Air Force Commander Major-General Mahmoud LARABA, supervised the implementation of a tactical air exercise, day and night under the theme: "Massive Air Strike Deep Into Enemy Territory During an Offensive Operation with Swinging Air Units", on May 30th,2022 at the Air Central Polygon/Chahid MEGOUAS Belkacem/1st M.R.
This tactical air exercise is materialized on the ground, by a maneuver idea which rests on the preparation and the engagement of the various categories of aviation starting from the units of the Air Forces, in order to carry out an air strike in cooperation with the Land Air Defense and Naval Forces units.
Also, it made it possible to assess degree of operational readiness of air units, the operational knowledge of the crews of different categories of aviation engaged, as well as the consolidation of operational cohesion and combative coordination between them, and this in tactical situations close to reality according to the requirements of modern combat.
In addition, this exercise made it possible to reinforce the technical capacities of the personnel, in particular as regards the implementation of the aircraft during the exercise, on the one hand, and on the other hand, it highlighted the skills acquired by the managers, in the field of preparation, coordination and conduct of operations in different situations, while emphasizing strict compliance with measures for the use of weapon systems within a reinforced flight safety framework.
Finally, this tactical air exercise took place in two phases: Dynamics and fire illustration, day and night.
