Mister the General Said CHANEGRIHA, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defence, Chief of Staff of the People's National Army, presides the installation ceremony of the new Air Force Commander
In the name of Mr. President of the Republic, High Commander of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence, Mr. the General Said CHANEGRIHA, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defence, Chief of Staff of the People's National Army, presided on Sunday 23rd February 2025, the ceremony of installation of the Major General GHOUILA Zoubir in the position of Air Force Commander.
After the welcoming ceremony, Mr. the General Said CHANEGRIHA, observed a moment of prayer for the soul of Chahid "Amirouche AIT-HAMOUDA" Commander of the Historic wilaya III, whose name is carried by the headquarters of the Command. The General then laid a wreath of flowers on the stele of the martyr and recited the Fatiha in his memory and that of the valiant Chouhada.
Later on, Mr. the General proceeded to inspect the squares of the executives and personnel of the Air Force Command, aligned at the parade ground, before announcing the official installation of Major General Zoubir GHOUILA, in the functions of Commander of the Air Force, replacing Major General Mahmoud LARABA.
Then, the General presided over the ceremony of handing over the national flag and signed the minutes of the transfer of power.
During his meeting with the executives and personnel of the Air Force Command, the General delivered an orientation speech, broadcasted via videoconferencing to all the units of the Air Force.
At the end of this meeting, the General wished all the personnel of the Air Force Command every success in the accomplishment of their noble national missions, in the service security and stability of Algeria, and this, before following the interventions and listening to the concerns of the executives.
