In the framework of the sport activities for the 2021-2022 fiscal year approved by the High Command of the National People's Army, the Air Force Command organized at the Central Establishment of Aeronautical Materials / 1^st Military Region on coordination with the National School of Aeronautics Technicians / Chahid Mohamed BENKERT / Blida 1^st Military Region, from February 13^th to 17^th, 2022 the national military associated wrestling cup.


     The opening ceremony was presided by Mr. Air Commander of the 1^st M.R, as representative of General-Major Mahmoud LARABA, the Air Force Commander.


     134 wrestlers participate to this competition, belonging the six (06) military regions, the Forces Commands, the National Gendarmerie, the 40^th Division of Mechanized Infantry / 3^rd M.R and the 1^st Armored Division / 5^th M.R.


     This competition was marked by a great sportsmanship and a notable fair play, which gave rise to highly contested competitions between the athletes that allowed some of them to stand out and show off their talents and technical skills.

The freestyle wrestling competitions have produced the following results:

1^st place Command of the 1^st M.R;

2^nd place Command of the 2^nd M.R;

3^rd place Command of the 5^th M.R.

for the Greco-Roman wrestling, the following teams went up to the podium:

1^st place Command of the National Gendarmerie;

2^nd place Command of the Land Forces;

3^rd place Command of the 4^th M.R.
