Celebration of the International Woman's Day
On the occasion of the International Woman's Day which coincides with the 08th March of each year, on behalf of the Major General Mahmoud LARABA, Air Force Commander, the Major General Ahmed SELMI, the Chief of Staff of the Air Forces, presided on the 07th March 2023, at the Headquarters of Air Force Command / Chahid Ait Hamouda Amirouche, a ceremony in honor of the military and civilian women staff, with the presence of the Heads of Central Structures.
A speech was addressed on the name of the Air Force Commander, in which he congratulated the female staff (military and civilian). He also mentioned that the Algerian women was always a model of abnegation and patriotism, she never give up contributing efficiently in different struggle and popular resistance and during the glorious national war of liberation, side by side with man, without neglected her responsibilities as mothers, wife and sister.
Moreover, he values the sacrifices and the combat of Algerian woman in the different historical stages that Algeria has experienced on the one hand, and on the other hand it is an opportunity to receive the spirit of perseverance and challenge among women staff of the People's National Army in general and the Air Force in particular, exhorting them to persevere their efforts with devotion, assiduity and professionalism in order to achieve the assigned objects.
