On the occasion of the International Woman's Day which coincides with the 8^th March of each year, on behalf of the Major General Mahmoud LARABA, Air Force Commander, the Major General Ahmed SELMI, the Chief of Staff of the Air Forces, presided on the 7^th March 2022, at the Headquarters of Air Force Command / Chahid Ait Hamouda Amirouche, a ceremony in honor of the military and civilian women staff, with the presence of the Heads of Central Structures.


     A speech was addressed on the name of the Air Force Commander, in which he congratulated the female staff (military and civilian). He also mentioned their efforts, fights and contributions in different struggle and popular resistance and during the national war of liberation, giving a model of sacrifice for liberation, where she acquired her rights in all combats, side by side with man, without neglected her responsibilities as mother, wife and sister.


     Moreover, he values the work provided by the women after the independence, in the development of the People's National Army in general and the Air Force in particular, exhorting them to persevere their efforts with devotion, assiduity and professionalism in order to achieve the assigned objects.


     This International Woman's Day end by the delivery of symbolic presents and taking souvenir photos.
