Open Days on Air Force at the Air Base Chahid ABIDLI Ahmed Biskra / 4th M.R
As a part of the framework of the execution of the communication general plan of the People's National Army for the exercise 2022, the Air Forces Command organized open days on the Air Force from the 24th to 26th March 2022 at the Air Base Chahid ABIDLI AHMED / 4th MR.
The opening ceremony was presided by the Air Base Commander, in the name of Major General Mahmoud LARABA, Air Force Commander, in the presence of the Wali of Biskra, officers, local authorities, public and private media as well as the public.
This event, which coincides with the celebration of the 60th anniversary of victory day 19th March and on the eve of the 60th anniversary of the independence and the recovery of national sovereignty 05th July, aims to strength the link between the civil society and the army in one part, and in another part to show to the public a general idea about the substantial efforts of the Air Forces Command, particularly in the training and the staff's abilities, the acquisition of the state-of-the-art air vectors, the modernization of aeronautical materials and also the development and scientific research.
These open days were characterized by the presence of large public of families and students coming of bordering province, who visited a static exposition at the airport apron, composed by a pattern of air vectors of the Air Force, and the presentation of a part of the maintenance equipments and operational means. Besides, they take part to documentary films about the Air Force.
Likewise, these days were an opportunity for the young students wishing be enlisted in the People's National Army rank and particularly the Air Forces, and about the allowed specialties, as well about the recruitment modalities in our training establishments.
