Search and rescue exercise at the Air Higher School Chahid Tayeb Djebbar/Tafraoui/2nd MR
Within the framework of the instruction of Forces of People's National Army of the year 2023/2024, approved by Mr. General, Chief of People's National Army Staff, the Air Forces Commandment organized with collaboration of the Air Territory Defense Forces, an exercise of search and rescue entitled: "recovery of nationals from a neighboring conflict zone" on November 29th, 2023 at the Air Higher School Chahid Tayeb Djebbar / Tafraoui 2nd MR.
This exercise aim to evaluate the capacity of air units in the field of search and rescue, to control the application of the national plan for coordinating search and rescue operations for aircraft in distress, also to optimize and develop the capacities of the various aircraft involved in special operations.
The exercise was successfully carried out, achieving the objectives set and expected, valorizing the acquired knowledge and inspect availability of the various participants to take on this type of special operations.
