Working and Inspection Visit of Mister the General Saïd CHANEGRIHA Chief of the Staff of People's National Army to the Headquarters of the Air Force Command
Working and Inspection Visit of Mister the General Saïd CHANEGRIHA Chief of the Staff of People's National Army to the Headquarters of the Air Force Command
In the framework of field visits to the different components of the People's National Army, Mister the General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of the Staff of People's National Army, made on April 04th, 2023, a working and inspection visit to the Headquarters of the Air Force Command Chahid "AIT HAMOUDA Amirouche".
After the welcoming ceremony, Mister the General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of the Staff of People's National Army, accompanied with the General Major Mahmoud LARABA, the Air Force Commander, put a wreath of flowers on the stele of the Chahid "AÏT HAMOUDA Amirouche", before reciting the Fatiha on his soul and on that of the valiant Chouhada.
Mister the General, made an orientation meeting with the staff, where he pronounced an allocution in the Auditorium of the Air Force Documentation Center, followed via videoconferencing by the whole staff of the Air Force Command units, deployed across the Military Regions.
On this occasion, Mister the General, stressed the efforts of the High Command of People's National Army is constantly working to combine the qualified and competent human factor, with modern equipments and aircrafts, equipped with state-of-the-art weapon systems technology :
« We have, on many occasions, emphasized the fact that the human factor constitutes, to a large extent, the basis of all success and that whatever the importance of the technical and technological level of the equipments and of the different weapon systems, the determining factor lies in the judicious use of the supplied equipments.
As such, our main objective is to combine the qualified and competent human factor, with modern equipments and aircrafts, equipped with state-of-the-art weapon systems.
It is within the framework of this rational and methodical vision that the preparation of our Air Force falls under to assume their professional responsibilities with the required know-how, the professionalism which the character and the vital role of the weapon of aviation in modern battle, as well as the commitment and honor of belonging to the People's National Army, a worthy heir to the modern National Liberation Army ».
Similarly, the General also greeted the personnel, all categories combined, of the Air Force and the members of the crews in particular, who were honored by the President of the Republic, for the great performances and the skill which they showed during the accomplishment of the various missions which they are assigned :
« The optimization of the operational performance of our Air Forces is a requirement that the personnel of these Armed Forces must, each according to their position and area of expertise, strive to achieve and consider as an absolute priority. They must therefore show more dedication to achieve total control of our airspace while constantly adapting to the evolution of modern warfare marked by the growing use of drones of all kinds.
On this occasion, I will not fail to salute our pilots and the members of their crews, who were recently honored by the President of the Republic, Supreme Head of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence, for the great performances and the skills they have shown during the accomplishment of the various assigned missions ».
Furthermore, Mister the General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of the People's National Army, inquired about the concerns and suggestions of the Air Force executives.
At the end of this meeting, the General chaired a meeting bringing together the executives of the Command and the General Staff through which he followed a presentation given by the Air Forces Commander, covering all areas of activity and the state of execution of the development plan specific to the Air Forces. As such, the General gave a series of instructions, urging them to invest fully in order to materialize the assigned objectives, also paying particular attention to improving the quality of training, personnel combat preparation and equipment maintenance operations. Also, he emphasized the need to strictly and scrupulously respect the procedures and the general rules of flight safety during the planning and execution of aerial activities both for training and within the framework of ordered missions.
