General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of PNA, on a working and inspection visit to Oum El Bouaghi Air Base in the 5th Military Region
Within the extension of working and inspection visits to the various Military Regions, General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of People's National Army, carried out on, Thursday, 7th September 2023 a working and inspection visit to Oum El Bouaghi Air Base, in the 5th military region.
At the beginning of the visit and after the welcoming ceremony by Major General Mahmoud Laraba, Commander of Air Forces and Major General Noureddine Hambali, Commander of the Fifth Military Region, the General inspected the Air Forces formations that gave him the honourable salute.
followed up with a presentation by the Commander of Air Forces, detailing the progress of the development programs planned for this important base, which reflects the tireless and ambitious efforts provided by the High Command that aims to the modernization and the development of People's National Army battle corps. Afterwards, the General closely inspected the various facilities that this base is accommodated with, as well as the aircraft and technical means put into service, and he also listened to comprehensive explanations in the same regard.
On this occasion, the General urged all executives and staff to exert more dedicated efforts, especially in the field of air security and preserving the available equipment and means, as well as continuing combat preparation efforts with all seriousness, in order to maintain the operational readiness of the base at its highest level.
