In the framework of the general communication plan of the People's National Army for the year 2024, the Territory Air Defense Forces Command organized on March 2nd , 2024 a lecture entitled: "The Algerian strategy in the shadow of the current regional and international changes ", led by Mr ARADJ Slimane, Doctor of political science and international relations, University of Algiers 3 .
The professor led his conference by talking about the changes occurring in the world today, which imposed major challenges that require an endogenous capacity-building of the Algerian states as well as the reinforcement of its home front. He then addressed the importance of building a medium and a long-term security strategy and its role in achieving a permanent security, as well as the dimension of the national defense policy and the Algerian strategy axes to face the regional and international challenges.
At the end of his intervention, the professor emphasizes the fact that the building of a security strategy reinforce the sovereign decision-making, also the consolidation of the capacities of the national institutions is one of the imperative needs required by the readiness; in order to develop a vision about how to accommodate with the current regional and international changes.
