The Territory Air Defense Force Commander, Major General Abdelaziz HAOUAM ,presided the official opening of the seminar on the topic” The Air-Ground cooperation during an air defense operation in a maritime area – a case of the western part of the coast,” which is held at the Air Defence Regional Command. The seminar was attended by the major general, Commander of the second military region officers and senior military officials from the People’s National Army Staff, the fourth Forces Commands, the Military Regions Commands, operational sectors and representatives from the Territory Air Defense Forces Command.

This seminar emphasizes the importance of organizing air-ground cooperation to maximize the potential of weapons involved in order to counter hostile air attack assets. Also, to anchor in the participants the idea that the success of air defense operations is mainly linked to the common use of all weapons and equipment systems, and the elaboration of proposals likely to improve the organization of the air-ground cooperation between the forces to accomplish the common missions.
