Visit of the chief of Staff of the National People’s Army, Lieutenant General of the Army, Said CHANEGRIHA to the Territory Air Defence forces Command

Lieutenant General of the Army Said CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of the National People’s Army has carried out on the April 11th, 2022 a working and inspection visit to the Territory Air Defence forces Command.

After the welcoming ceremony, Mr Lieutenant General Said CHANEGRIHA observed a moment of silence with Major General Abdelaziz HAOUAM, in memory of the martyr DEGHINE Benali “Si Lotfi” ,whose name the Headquarters of the Territory Air Defence forces Command carries, and laid flowers in front of his remembrance stone, then he recited the Fatiha in the martyr’s memory and in memory of all our brave martyrs.

After that, the Lieutenant General held a meeting with staff of the Territory Air Defense Forces Command, during which he delivered an orientation speech broadcasted on videoconference by the personnel of the units belonging to this arm, where he underlined the particular attention that the High Command pays to the Territory Air Defense Forces, because, these Forces are an essential and vital component within the People's National Army, given the sensitive spots to strategic character assigned to it. On this occasion, the Lieutenant General also insisted on the need for continuous work in the field of instruction, training, and combat preparation, which ensures effective operational performance. At this title, he emphasized the honourable competition among the elite staff of the People's National Army, aimed at enabling them to assume responsibilities in all areas of the profession of arms.

During this meeting, Mr Lieutenant General of the Army listened to some comments from the executives and the staff of the Territory Air Defence forces Command .He has also expressed his deep appreciation of the relevance of the topics discussed. At the end of the visit, Lieutenant General of the Army signed the visitor’s book.
