In execution of the Action Plan related to the preparation for combat, for the year 2023-2024, the Territory Air Defence Forces Command Health Division organised, , a conference entitled” The impact of sport activities on operational readiness” animated by Lieutenant–Colonel “AMAMRI Ayatoullah” Head of the hospitalization unit within the Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine Service at the Central Hospital of the Army/Ain Naadja 1st MR.
At the start of his conference, the lecturer addressed the impact of technological progress on human life style and how it affects man’s physical activity by increasing sedentary behaviours that will negatively affect many vital sectors such as (health, economy, environment..).
He put then the emphasis on the negative impact of sedentary life style on military and the psychological and behavioural disorders it generates .At the very same time, he evoked based on statistical data the sport activities positive impact on people’s mental and psychological health as well as the impact of the practice of sport on the staff performance.
At the end, the speaker presented some recommendations that might improve the practice of sport among military, in order to maintain a high level of readiness.
