In commemoration of the knowledge day, The Territory Air Defense Forces Commander, Major General Abdelaziz HAOUAM, chaired on April 16^th 2024, the opening ceremony of the second edition of the book salon. At the beginning of his address, the Territory Air Defense Forces Commander paid tribute to all the professors and the researchers as well as all the qualified professionals belonging to the Territory Air Defense Forces, and praised their determined efforts and their conscientiousness in order to promote and honour their army and their beloved nation.

He then, in the same context, stressed the fact that science remains the main strength characterizing our era, so the greatest importance has to be assured to it, in order to form military personnel capable of acquiring knowledge and science. This fourth edition constitutes, according to the Territory Air Defence Forces Commander, an excellent opportunity for the staff of the Territory Air Defense Forces to approach publishing houses and get informed about the various exposed works.

As a fringe event to this exhibition, a conference animated Dr MEZIANE Saidi Professor of Military History and Military Strategy at the Military Higher School of Information and Communication in Sidi Fredj /1^st MR was held, and in which he addressed the importance of science and its key role in empowering nations. He also approached the biograpy of the Islamic scholar Ibn Badis who is the figurehead of the Islamic reform movement in Algeria, while focusing on the role of the Assiociation of Algerian Muslim Ulema in defending the arab identity during the French colonialism.
