The Command of the Air Defense Forces of the Territory commemorates the national day of immigration on 17th October 1961
On 17th October 2023 morning at 11 a.m, at the level of the the Territory Air Defense Forces Command, under the aegis of the Major General Commander of the Territory Air Defense Forces Command, observed a minute’s silence in memory of EL CHOUHADA of the heinous massacres committed by the colonizer against Algerian immigrants. The latter went out to demonstrate peacefully in the main avenue of Paris, the French capital, to demand their freedom and the independence of their country.
These peaceful demonstrations ended in a brutal repression leading to the death of hundreds of innocent human lives whose corpses were thrown into the Seine still witness to these massacres.
In commemoration of the 62th anniversary of National Immigration Day, corresponding to 17th October 1961 and the implementation of the instructions of the High Command of People's National Army to observe a minute’s silence in memory of EL CHOUHADA.
