In application of the general communication plan of the People’s National Army for the year 2023, the Territory Air Defence Forces Command organized on February 28th 2023, a lecture entitled « Algeria as a regional power and its expected roles in the light of the current regional and international context» led by Professor « MOHAMED AMROUN ».
During his intervention, the professor highlighted the elements of global power enjoyed by Algeria whether at military, economic, political or social level , which made it one of the most important and influential forces in the region.

After that, he emphasized the pivotal role that Algeria on the regional stage through its contribution to maintain the security of the region, as well as the strategy adopted by its diplomacy in international fora, in addition to its ability to achieve and ensure its internal stability thanks to its institutions, inter allia the People’s National Army.
At the end of his intervention, the lecturer commended the efficiency of Algeria's foreign policy and its consistent position towards current issues in particular the respect for the sovereignty of states and non-interference in their affairs, as well as its call for the self – determination of peoples under colonial role.
