As a part of the activities of the Inter-ministerial Committee on Search and Rescue, Major General Abdelaziz HAOUAM, Commander of the Territory Air Défense Forces, chaired on December 29^th 2022, at the Command Headquarters, the Twenty-second (22^nd) session of the interministériel committee on Search and Rescue of aircraft in distress, in presence of representatives from all ministries involved.

The meeting was an opportunity to talk about the means and the prospects to enhance the bilateral cooperation and the ways to widen the current cooperation between the two armies.This meeting aimed to assess the Committee’s activities and make coordination between the different inter-ministerial sectors involved in Air Search and Rescue, also to be aware of the human and materiel resources needed in this field, and oversee the enforcement of the national and international conventions and regulations on Search and Rescue.
