Social networks and the community safety
The professor has emphasized in his conference the importance of social networks and the community safety that are closely related to the maintain of the cohesion and the stability in any country, in the light of the large scale proliferation of the social networks taken on one side as the most efficient mean used to vehicle information and on the other side a cause of several political incidents that have occurred in many countries as : terrorism, trafficking, corruption and the dissemination of subversive ideas among the population.
Thence, insecurity creates instability, thus implying that state institution are compelled to tackle such challenges through awareness actions particularly amongst young people by educating them about the dangers of some publications that incite hate among the same population, also by promulgating dissuasive laws and the punishment of the authors of these acts.
As part of conferences of general culture, scheduled by the High Command of the Ministry of National Defense, for the year 2022, the auditorium of the Territory Air Defense Forces Command headquarters hosted on Tuesday, May 31st 2022, a conference entitled: “social networks and the community safety” animated by Mr ARADJ Slimane, Doctor of political science and international relations.
