The academy also has other facilities, including:

  • Amphitheatres for lectures and forums;
  • A sports complex that includes a semi-Olympics swimming pool, a multi-sports hall, a hall strengthening and several playgrounds for practicing various sports activities;
  • A cultural complex that includes a central library, a reading hall, a photo laboratory and a cultural club;
  • A food complex with entertainment clubs;
  • A social health centre that includes treatment rooms, analysis laboratories, kindergartens and the Academy museum.

Activities of the Military Academy of Cherchell


   

  


The academy annually witnesses various scientific, cultural, sports and festive activities, it concludes with the annual graduation ceremony that is supervised by the high command of People's National Army and attended by Defence attachés and Military attachés of friendly and brotherly countries.


   

 

The academy annually organises scientific activities with the participation of professors and civilian researchers from different national universities:

  • Academic meetings;
  • Academic and pedagogical days;
  • Training courses for trainers.

The academy organizes several cultural activities, the most important are:

  • Lectures on national and historical events;
  • The cultural week;
  • Cultural competitions;
  • Cultural exhibitions.

  • Competitions in various military sports;
  • National and international sports days.
